Dance Scholarship Information and Budget

 BRAHMI NARMELO SARDAR FLAMENCO SCHOLARSHIP

GOAL OF $12,000 USD

 

·      Goal of awarding 10 (ten) cash scholarships to Flamenco dance students in Madrid, Spain intended for use on:

-       tuition at flamenco school(s) of their choice

-       taking dance workshops

-       purchasing flamenco shoes, dance outfits and accessories

-       purchasing tickets to dance performances (any type of dance)

 

·      Each scholarship will be 1000 Euros (approximately $1200 USD) and will be paid on the spot via check or bank draft payable to recipient.

·      A personalized certificate will also be awarded with the check.

 

Scholarships will be awarded via random draw from the following pools of tribute show performers.  Two scholarships will be awarded per category.

 

1) Children:              Ages 3 to 5 years

2) Beginner:             Ages 6 to 8 years 

3) Tweens:               Ages 9 to 12 years

 

4) Young Adults:    Ages 13 to 16 years 

 

5) Adults:                  Ages 17 and older

 

Random drawing will occur 2-3 business days prior to the Tribute Show allowing time to issue cashier’s checks from a local bank and to print personalized award certificates.

 

Drawing of names will be done by a person unaffiliated with either the dance school or the scholarship sponsor; Said person’s name and hometown will be posted on this blog.

 

Scholarship recipient names and photographs will be posted on this blog.
